Shopping in Las Vegas
When you come to Las Vegas, you need to shop. You can get some great deals at the nearby Outlet Malls. Here is a little tip to save you some extra money. Don’t buy the VIP coupon book. It costs $5 but you can get it free if you have an AAA or CAA membership or sign up at the Premium Outlet Website.
The first place you should go is to the Las Vegas Premium Outlet. This is an outdoor mall that is located at 875 South Central Parkway, at the end of the strip. There are 150 stores for you to browse for great bargains. To see a list of the stores click here.
There is an outlet mall called the Las Vegas Outlet Centre that is located at the south end of the Strip, 7400 Las Vegas Boulevard South . It is an indoor mall with 130 Outlet stores and has some great bargains as well. You can find the list of stores available to shop here.
There is one more Outlet Mall called Fashion Outlets Of Las Vegas. It is a bit farther away in Primm (approx 40 mins off the strip) but if you have the time you should check it out. you can catch the shuttle at The Fashion Shops, Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood and MGM Grand. If you have Champagne Taste and a Champagne budget to suit, then Crystals Mall is for you. You can find a great selection of merchandise from the three story Louis Vuitton store, Tiffany & Co, Roberto Cavalli, and many other high end designers. This is a newly developed mall which opened Dec 2009. Crystals is located at the City Centre between Monte Carlo and Bellagio. There is a free tram that you can pick up between these hotels that will bring you here. Check out what is currently there and what will be opening soon.
Fashion Show Mall is the place to go to access the department stores. it is located at 3200 Las Vegas Boulevard South across from the Wynn.
You will find shops such as Neiman Marcus, Nordstroms, Macy’s and many others here. There are over 250 shops and services. Check them out here.
For a unique shopping experience, check out the Forum Shops located at Caesars Palace. You will find beautiful sculptures and murals decorating the interior and exterior of this building. There are 160 retailers to explore as well as an electronic fountain adorned with Greek Gods and Goddess that put on an little show. See the Forum Shops Directory here.
You can also do alot of shopping in many of the hotels along the Strip. One you should check for sure is Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood, it has over 170 shops and services and a neat indoor rainstorm that you can experience.
